Why organic?
I believe that all beauty and body-care products should be free of chemicals and toxins. This philosophy is a lifestyle, and ensures that what you are putting on your skin is beneficial and therapeutic. Organic essential oils are obtained from plants that have not been chemically treated, and the soil is usually certified to be chemical free for a certain number of years.

The skin is the largest organ of the body and is comprised of three layers, including the epidermis, dermis and hypodermis, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center. Your skin eliminates toxins and also immediately absorbs what you put onto it.

What are essential oils?
Essential oils are volatile oils (as opposed to fixed [or vegetable] oils) and they do volatize (evaporate) rapidly especially when compared to fixed or vegetable oils. Essential oils contain the true essence of the plant it was derived from. Essential oils are highly concentrated and the aroma of essential oils can provide helpful psychological and physical therapeutic benefits.

*Some essential oils should be avoided if you have specific medical conditions. Please make sure to consult your doctor or do research before using any product that contains essential oils.
